THE STORY
Brooklands Dairy isn't just another ice cream producer – they're ecosystem builders. Their biodynamic farm, free from harmful pesticides, has created a landscape where clovers thrive, soil regenerates, and healthy cows graze. When they decided to turn their exceptional milk into gelato, they needed packaging that would tell this story of sustainable farming and local production. Having already established their brand identity, they returned to us to help bring their frozen treats to life.
THE CHALLENGE
How do you translate the authenticity of a biodynamic farm into a freezer-friendly format? We needed to create packaging that would stand out in the crowded ice cream category while staying true to Brooklands' farming heritage. The design had to communicate premium quality and sustainable values, all while making flavour selection simple for customers navigating a frozen aisle.
OUR APPROACH
Building on our previous work with Brooklands, we amplified their brand's honest, down-to-earth personality. The large, proud logo, inspired by hand-painted farm signs found on country roads, speaks to their transparent approach to farming. But it was the farm's clover-filled fields that provided our breakthrough moment – we transformed this natural element into hand-applied clover-shaped labels, creating both a distinctive brand asset and an intuitive navigation system.
Each tub becomes a little piece of the Brooklands landscape, bringing their biodynamic farming story right into people's homes.
